Resource Label Group announces closure of Franklin facility

As part of the move, the company will lay off 68 employees and close its facility by the end of November 2026.

Resource Label Group, which is based in Franklin, TN, USA, has announced plans to lay off 68 employees as part of the company’s Franklin facility closure later in 2026. The announcement comes according to a Worker Adjustment and Retraining Notification, or WARN, filed with the Tennessee Department of Labor and Workforce Development.

Resource Label notified the state of a mass layoff and permanent closure at its facility on Seaboard Lane in Franklin. Layoffs are expected to begin October 3 and continue through November 11. The closure is expected to be completed by November 25.

Resource Label Group delivers labeling products and services for the food, beverage, chemical, household products, personal care, nutraceutical, pharmaceutical, medical device and technology industries. RLG operates 33 locations in North America and is a portfolio company of Ares Management Corporation.

According to the company, Resource Label Group employs more than 1,500 associates in the US and Canada.

Previously, RLG underwent a significant leadership change. The company announced that the Board of Directors appointed Rose Lee as Executive Chair of the Board and CEO. Meanwhile, Erik Duloisy was named the COO and Bob Gold was appointed to CFO.
